Centennial Bank recently announced that Deanna Hoffman has been hired to head retail operations in its Beebe market.
Hoffman is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

“Beebe is an important and expanding market for us and we were fortunate to add another experienced banker to our team that was already familiar with our exceptional service standards. Deanna has the personality and business savvy to assist our customers, build new relationships and read into what is coming in the future for our Beebe market,  ” said regional president Tracy French.

Before coming to Beebe, Hoffman was the assistant retail leader/branch manager for the Centennial Bank Main location in Conway.  Hoffman’s new responsibilities include retail oversight of both Centennial branches in Beebe as well as new business development.

Centennial Takes the Plunge for a Great Cause

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Centennial Bank was once again one of the main sponsors for the 2009 Polar Bear Plunge benefiting Special Olympics Arkansas. Little Rock regional president Bob Birch "plunged" with law enforcement officials from around the state to benefit the charity.

Birch challenged both Little Rock and North Little Rock branches to raise an additional $1,200 dollars for the event.  If the branches met the goal, Birch would plunge in the 40 degree water with the first wave of law enforcement officers.  Over $2,200 dollars were raised on behalf of Centennial and its employees.

To date, over $30,000 dollars has been raised for Special Olympics Arkansas through sponsorships and contributions for the Polar Bear Plunge.

Why Gift Cards Are More Popular Than You Thought

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

giftcards_tallLooking for the Perfect Holiday Gift?  Centennial Bank could be your one-stop shop.  While banks are not traditional Black Friday retailers, Centennial can help you avoid the lines.  Centennial Bank Visa gift cards are perfect for just about everyone on your list.  The benefits include:

  • Flexibility – they allow receivers to purchase whatever they choose
  • Convenience – accepted anywhere Visa is accepted – in stores, by phone or online
  • Safety – they are better than cash since they can be replaced if lost or stolen
  • Easy and inexpensive to mail to loved ones

Some feel gift cards are impersonal gifts.  However, gift cards top holiday wish lists.  According to a National Retail Federation survey, 55.2% of adults would like to receive gift cards this holiday season.  So, for many, gift cards seem to be the most thoughtful gift of all.
