Stuck on a Truck Registration Begins

Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011

It's that time of year!!! Centennial Bank's annual event, Stuck on a Truck, will roll into Toak Suck Daze on April 28, 2011. Last year, Terry Odom claimed Stuck on a Truck's most coveted prize – a new 2010 F150 Ford pickup truck. Terry was the oldest man to ever win the competition, and this year, twenty-five contestants will again endure sleep deprivation, noise, trains, anxiety, and yes, even storms, to claim victory.

For contest rules, prizes, contestant information and our much loved WEBCAM, visit our official Stuck on a Truck website!

To register for Stuck on a Truck, visit any of the Centennial Bank locations (Arkansas Only) or any of the registration points below. This year we have added the option to register on our Facebook page at facebook.com/my100bank.

The top three contestants won some great prizes.  Thank you to all of our sponsors for help making this happen.

Terry Odom was able to stay on the 2010 Ford F150 the longest with a time of 91 hours and 23 minutes!  This was Terry's third appearance in the contest, so third time's a charm for him!

Stuck on a Truck Starts Today! Vote for Your Favorites and Support Local Charities.

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Today marks the beginning of Stuck on a Truck at Toad Suck.  This is the tenth year of the competition.  It is sure to be an exciting time for the contestants, their families and friends.  Before all the excitement starts at noon today, we want to remind everyone of another reason Centennial Bank has this event: local charities.

Every player stuck to the truck has a charity they are paired with.  You can go to www.stuckonatruck.com and vote for your favorite.  You vote for your favorite by giving to their charity.  The player with the most votes wins a nice prize package and the charity they are paired with gets 100% of the proceeds.  In the past few years, we have raised over $7,000 for local charities, so go online and vote for your favorite contestant or charity!

Live coverage via webcam starts today at noon!  You can also follow the action on Twitter with @my100bank or @stuckonatruck as well as our facebook page.

Our blog will be updated soon with video and pictures of the kickoff!

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts.

For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
